You will all be presenting your work in class today – most of you will be using the smartboard. Make sure your technology is working on our computers before you present, especially if you have been doing the work on other computers using different computer programs.
Our class has been working hard on our posters, poems and essays for the past week in class. The due date for submission of all student work is Friday, November 11th. Students are required to complete a poem that is not more than 32 lines(no minimum), an essay of no more than 350 workds, and a black and white or full colour poster. I have been thoroughly impressed by the students’ writing, and the great ideas they have generated on this theme of remembrance.
Our class will be hosting the Remembrance Day service on Friday at 10:30 in our gymnasium. All are welcome to attend the service.

Legend Writing Success Criteria
This is the success criteria for writing a good legend. We created the criteria as a class so that the students know what we are looking for in a well-written legend. Students will all get a hard copy of this form to paste into their notebooks. I will provide feedback to students based on this success criteria.
